Fitness / Running Coach

When Bridgette embarked on her running journey over two decades ago, she could not have foreseen the profound future impacts. Her initial goal was merely shedding excess body weight. Yet, throughout her journey, an unexpected and profound transformation occurred. This metamorphosis, emotional, mental, and physical, ignited a fervent desire to inspire others to undertake the same transformative journey. Bridgette came to realize that her relationship with running was ordained, a divine appointment structured to elevate her to a platform where she could positively impact other people’s lives.

In the early years of the Millennium, she pioneered a fitness entity named MAC Fitness (Making-A-Commitment to Fitness). This enterprise channeled energies towards driving individuals to integrate walk/run plans into their daily routines to foster healthier lifestyle transformations.  Unknowingly, her innovative venture grabbed the attention of another community-based running program, who was eager to bolster their minority runners' representation. Come 2003, she joined forces with Luke’s Locker (situated in Dallas) and USA Fit, with a vision of inspiring more minorities to embrace running as a viable option for a robust lifestyle.

She elevated her career by serving as a walking/running coach for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America’s Team Challenge initiative. In 2010, Walton A. Taylor, MD, FACS, sought to incorporate a physical fitness regimen to his “All About Life Breast Health Center” project in Dallas, TX. Bridgette was chosen to craft a strategy that trained participants to concentrate on nutritious food intake and regular physical exercise.
